Paper Tags

Build a tagged library of research papers without leaving your browser. Drop PDFs for a fingerprint and a best-guess title, paste BibTeX for full metadata, or paste a DOI or arXiv id to save a placeholder entry.

Add papers

Add PDF files We do not read the text inside your PDF (no PDF reader is bundled here). We use the filename and, if present, the file's Info-dictionary Title — found with a quick byte scan, not full parsing — for a guess. Every file also gets a SHA-256 fingerprint, so the same PDF dropped twice under a different name is caught as a duplicate. The PDF itself is never stored, only its fingerprint and guessed title.
